Tombstone Mexican Restaurant
Level 2
340 Walcott Street
Mt Lawley

PH: 9443 8888

This awesome little place is so often overlooked, but I urge anyone who has a hankering for some good mexican chow to take a chance on this little place, I dont think you'll be dissapointed.

We go here quite often.  The restaurant is comfortable, with lots of space and comfortable booths for seating.  A fully stocked bar and great music / video projector make for a great mood.  Would also make an excellent venue for a private party if you were that way inclined.

We usually start with the Chilli Con Queso dip and tortilla chips, but we also had the Con Carne dip last time and that was yummy as well.

We had burritos, which are always cooked great and scrumptious to boot!  Fairly large and filling servings at reasonable prices sweeten the deal further.

The restaurant does a good mix of traditional mexican fare such as burritos, enchiladas, tacos etc, plus has a good selection of steaks and seafood.  They are child-friendly and have some good children's options too.

The cocktails are divine too - just thought I should mention that!

Oh, and for those who like their food HOT HOT HOT - dont be shy, ask the Chef for his special level of hotness, guaranteed to melt your face off!

The staff are extremelt attentive and helpful, and the owner/chef is often seen out in the Restaurant chatting to the patrons.  I really recommend this place for a great night out that wont make your wallet scream, but will definitely make your tummy thank you.

Sounds great.
I'm often in the Mt. Lawley area so I will have to give it a try sometime.
Can you just walk in or is it best to book beforehand?

They're not incredibly busy at the moment, so they're happy to take walk-ins :o)

Re: Awesum place to eat

I can't believe this could the same Tombstone i went to - where the dining room was dingy and dark, the food was soggy and foul, and the wait staff were rude and unfriendly.

Truley aweful place.

Re: Awesum place to eat

Agree with above, so foul, wouldn't eat there ever again. Do yourself a favour and stay far far away
