[mood |anxiousin need of cake]

Now that I've posted a review and thus feel justified in asking for help...

I want to order a pavlova from somewhere. Any recommendations of good cake places that would do that sort of thing? Otherwise I may end up stuck with the Cheesecake shop :(

(And to those who know me: yes, I will be getting it without cream. Which is kind of a waste but I don't care :))

It's ok, but their pavlovas are a bit bland and squishy(*).

(*)And not in the good way. Hmm, I'm not I can explain this very well before my morning shower :)

And all their cheesecakes contain beef.
Seriously. Look at the ingredients list.

Ewwww. I mean I'm quite happy to eat beef under the right circumstances, but that does not include cakes.

Nothing at all, as long as they're savoury (mmm, meatcakes)

It's the sugary caramel/chocolate etc flavoured meatcakes that cross the line into gross for me :)

I rang and they were pretty clear about not doing them, a pavlova is pretty different to a regular cake so I can understand them not doing one special. Maybe if I wanted 50 or something :)
